The Intact Proinsulin ELISA Kit is an enzyme immunoassay intended for the quantitative determination of intact proinsulin in serum and plasma.
Proinsulin is a precursor molecule for insulin and is synthesised by the pancreatic β-cells.
Indications:
• Diabetes type 1 and 2;
• Insulinomas, functional hypoglycemia, hyperinsulinemia;
• Kidney dysfunction, cirrhosis and hyperthyreosis;
• Cardiovascular diseases.
